Employment Training Panel

The WIB can introduce you to a program that will reimburse employers up to 50 percent of an employee's wages during a period of training. This allows employers to offset the high cost of hiring and training new employees. Our staff will work with you to match an experienced applicant with the job qualifications for an "On-the-Job Training (OJT) position.

Additionally, the WIB can assist you in applying for Employment Training Panel (ETP) funds, which is a State of California program that provide funds for employers to cover the cost of training new employees or upgrading the skills of the existing workforce.
